Osmaura
We find new matter opportunities for corporate law firms.
About Osmaura
As soon as a lawyer is made partner, they’re expected to bring in new business. However, it’s often not clear when a company is going to need legal counsel. So partners are encouraged to do business development with every person in their network in hopes that at least one of them generates new work. Osmaura gives partners a deeper understanding of prospective clients and legal support they might need at the right time. Our agents do this by monitoring the web, news, socials, and internal firm context to surface targeted matter opportunities for each partner.

Previously studied CS at MIT with a minor in public policy. 2x AWS Intern. I’ve also done NLP and ML research with the Econ department and MIT GOV/LAB including work on argument extraction and policy prediction. I’ve been interested in law and public institutions for years through debate and mock trial, and I bring that context to building AI for the legal industry.

Previously studied CS at MIT. Before osmaura, I was a SWE intern at Meta, where I built infrastructure that reduced network patching time from 6 hours to 2 minutes. I was also a SWE fellow at Jane Street and worked on technical research during MIT. I'm interested in building high-value technical products, and have spent months working with law firm partners to understand how they win new matters.
