Mass Magnetics turns recycled rare-earth scrap into high-performance permanent magnets, made in America. The materials we supply are the backbone of electric motors, sensors, speakers, hard drives, and electronics. Our process enables DFARS-compliant magnets for defense, aerospace, and industrial manufacturers who demand domestic supply without compromising on quality. Operations in Greater Boston, MA (Greentown Labs) and Columbus, IN.

Matthew Groll
Founder
Co-founder and CTO at Mass Energy Company. Former NASA/Columbia/MIT. Previously worked on thermal systems and guidance/navigation at NASA Johnson Space Center for ISS and Artemis lunar missions. Also previously worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Draper Laboratory. Studied Mechanical Engineering at Columbia, captaining the Formula SAE and Robotics Club, then earned a Masters in Manufacturing from MIT.
